C.A.B.I., LLC Background

In 2011, Cooperative Agricultural Biotech Industries (C.A.B.I.), was formed by a two partners Who were brought together by divine inspiration, in an effort to help rebuild the earthquake decimated and impoverished island nation of Haiti.

Their efforts are focused on; providing the people of Haiti with the chance for employment, agricultural sustainability, growth, education (teach a man to fish), and the pride that comes with success. The byproduct of these efforts will help stop the devastating, nation wide deforestation process in Haiti.

Their vision is to supply a Cooperative of Farmers an opportunity to produce, a thrice-yearly cash crop, employment at the processing facilities, and uplift a community. Products produced will not only be for in-country use, but as a major export product to the Americas and Europe.

Steve Salnave
President and CEO Officer/Director

Mr. Salnave is a retired Haitian American- Disaster Assessment Claims Adjuster, Businessman/Entrepreneur who's Great-great-grandfather, Sylvain Salnave (Haitian President 1867-1869). Mr. Salnave is responsibilities range from being a director, decision maker, leader, manager, and executor, high-level decisions about policy and strategy. As a leader of the company, he also motivates employees, and drives change within the organization. As a manager, presides over the organization's day-to-day operations.
 

Dr. James T. Secrest
Vice President of Operations and Chief Scientific Officer/Director

Dr. Secrest is an American US Navy Veteran, Scientist, Researcher, and Leader in Pharmaceutical Discovery, Nuclear Medicine, and Drug Safety Evaluation fields and has been studying the possibilities in the field of industrial hemp for the past 25 years.

Dr. Secrest is responsible for agronomy, scientific oversight, and the overall farming and manufacturing operation. In addition, Dr. Secrest will head all ongoing scientific research projects and testing. Including; developing new research capabilities and utility of research products, and for communicating with the scientific and customer communities concerning capabilities and product offerings.
